9/15/08 IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION: FIX FOR TEAMSPEAK CONNECTION ISSUE

Dear Customer,

There was an issue today where our new teamspeak server ips were banned by Teamspeak.com. This issue was resolved and the ips are no longer banned at this time. Anyone who attempted to connect to one of the new ips during the period of the ban causes a change to the teamspeak config file which is located in a hidden folder located on the C: drive. The path to this hidden folder is usually

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\teamspeak2

We have some easy directions to remove the file which will resolve this connection issue. It was tested on Vista and XP. If you are receiving an error to enter a teamspeak server and receive a popup box stating the following message you will need to perform the directions listed below to fix this issue. This will recreate a new config file but any previous saved teamspeak server info will be gone. There is no workaround for this problem. If you never saw this message most likely you are able to connect and do not require to do the following fix.

ERROR
"The server you are trying to connect to, is on our Blacklist.
This is usualy because the hoster of the server is violating
our server license agreement.The client will not connect. For
more information see HTTP:www.teamspeak.org/abuse.php"

Fix for Vista or XP

Make sure Teamspeak Client is shutdown
Go to left bottom corner and click on "start button" in XP or "vista icon" in Vista
Go to Start Search Input Box in Vista or Run in XP
Type or Copy/Paste %APPDATA%/teamspeak2
Click search icon or press enter
Teamspeak2 folder will open
Delete Teamspeak.config
Restart Teamspeak Client

9/9/08 IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION: NJ TEAMSPEAK SERVER MIGRATION

Dear Customer,

Please be advised to provide you with an improved network and better service we will be migrating our servers from our New Jersey datacenter to our new datacenter location in New York.  We have scheduled this migration on Thursday 9/11/08 starting at 9:00 pm EST. The teamspeak servers listed below will be changed. The old servers will still be online and available until Thursday 9/18/08 at 9:00pm EST to allow for you and your users to be aware of the new changes. At that time the old teamspeak servers will be shutdown. We do not expect any downtime during this transfer. The new servers will be available for use on 9/11/08 after the transfer has been completed and the teamspeak management panel will be switched over for use with the new servers at that time. Please continue using your assigned server port with the new ip address. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to e-mail us or submit a support ticket.

8/03/07 ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW SERVER ONLINE

Please read the following regarding new server and changes for clients located on Zeus 69.93.123.29 and Venus 69.93.123.30.

We have put a new server online that will replace the following servers.The existing server is having a hardware failure which would cause extensive downtime because we need to run diagnostic tests. The decision to get a new server online was the best way to keep our clients online with minimum to no downtime. We will keep the old server online temporarily to allow all of our clients to switch over to their new designated ips. All clients existing settings have been transferred over. Server ports will be the same as your existing port. The only change is the Teamspeak Server IP. We apologize about this inconvenience but this is beneficial in keeping our clients online. If anyone has a question or needs assistance please submit a support ticket for the quickest response. The new ips are listed below. You will be able to login to Teamspeak Management the same way just choose the appropriate server listed in the Server Profile.

Venus Server: 69.93.123.30 -----> Hercules Server: 74.86.75.233
Zeus Server: 69.93.123.29 -----> Halo Server: 74.86.75.232

Server Maintenance Schedule
Next Reboot - OCT 10th 2008

Totalwebhq would like to inform all clients of our server maintenance schedule. All servers are rebooted on a weekly basis.

These scheduled server reboots give us the ability to restart the server as needed for software upgrades, installs, etc.

The reboot timeframe will always occur during the hours of 3:00 am EST to 6:00 am EST of the scheduled reboot date.

During this timeframe a routine reboot will be performed resulting in no longer than 3-5 minutes of downtime.

Anti-Flood Daemon

All servers have been updated recently with a new security feature which prevents flooding attempts on your Teamspeak server by banning the performing IP address for 5 minutes. Sends a private message to every serveradmin connected to the server that a user was banned and the users ip address to allow permanent banning.
